I've seen lots of mentions of steeping juices on here, but I don't know how you do it.
I've got a few Joose Juices that I'm trying out at the mo, and the flavours are nice but quite weak. I've heard that Jooses take a bit of steeping. They arrived about 2 weeks ago and have been sitting unopened. Do I need to keep the lids off? Cool or warm room? And how long does it take, roughly? I suppose all flavours are different in that respect.
Any useful tips you've picked up along the way?

I tend to steep all mine in the airing cupboard..........There seems to be mixed opinions regards the lids, but I leave mine on.......I give the bottles a good shake every few days & remove the lids & give the bottles a quick squeeze to expel any air.........

Some leave top on top off dark place ie draw, depending on juice maybe 1-3 days for some it can take upto 2weeks for max flavour[ Vanilla Custard] also some say to give bottle little squeeze to expel old air ,then in hale new air and give it a shake

I found using the coffee frother method is a lot faster and I can vape it within 30mins of making it

Saturnalia, Open top, close top, cold dark, warm dark, it's the lengh of time I find that counts. However there are those amongst us who have tried with considerable sucess to speed up the process by putting the bottles into an Ultrasonic cleaning Unit. Not tried that my self as the price of such a unit would not be a viable purchase for me personaly

I made 50ml of my EDV and it took about 10 days steeping naturally (colour & flavour). With the coffee frother, 50ml was ready after 24 hours (colour and flavour). The ultrasonic cleaner seems to me to hasten the colour development, but less so the flavour. Quantity does seem to matter, presumably as it takes more molecules longer to mix and blend. Tops on or off, squeezing and all that is unnecessary if you ask me, I have always steeped in closed bottles with the top on at room temperature on my sofa side table and my juices taste wonderful

In a drawer, normal room temp, lids off for 1st week with the odd shake and squeeze if I remember, lids back on and steep for another week if non-tobacco or another 3 weeks at least for tobacco mixes. Tobacco mixes will only be ready to vape with 4 weeks steeping in my experience and continue to become stronger the longer they are allowed to steep.

I froth too. I find bakery flavours are ready in 1-2 days. Fruit flavours take a bit longer and tobacco mixes can still take 5-7 days.

After steeping for a week have mellowed slightly but im still diluting them with a butterscotch I have. As for the steeping process I don't find it really matters how you do it - The key is time and one week is the minimum. With flavours like custard you can literally watch the process, as the juice goes from a straw colour to something resembling the morning pee after a good night out (although it smells slightly better). If after two weeks your still not happy I can't see them getting any better. What set up are you using and which flavours/strength/ratio do you have?

I am steeping some Joose Juice liquids I got about a week ago to see what happens. I put them in a drawer then pretended they didn't exist, till I then pretended they existed again to have a little try of them, then put them back in again.
It's a testament of my trust in the people on this forum that I am steeping them at all. I don't know if it does anything, they told me to do it, so I'm doing it. If nothing happens I will pretend it did as I don't want them to be upset.

I've heard that Jooses take a bit of steeping. Trust me on this (DJS in secretive, non-accusatory mood today).... some of the Joose Juices will need steeping. Let me add something also.... I spend a nice hour the other day with a man who makes E-Liquid for his shop. He told me he knows his flavours so well he can say off the top of his head which ones will be usable immediately and which will be tasteless at first. I cannot explain (best not to ask too many question of the master Yoda) but he said "some of (my) the liquids can be vaped instantly". He was right. He made up a juice there and then. I vaped it an hour later.
