Hey Jemima Has been an exciting journey hun!

Day 1 - Took the Riva with me to work. A bit nervous I have to admit as personally I have never seen anyone vapping in London... I am liking the taste & feel but noticed there's not enough smoke / vapour coming out which is probably because I was vapping outdoors by the river - sorta windy then. So felt a bit blehhh by it.
Day 2 - Getting frustrated as there's still that lack of 'smoke' issue but, one of the kind guys here told me to drip a few drops of juice directly on the atty and voila! Sorted MUCH happier now. Even went out to see some friends and openly vapping away
Day 3 - Realised that I don't quite like the look of the cone on RIVA so have removed it. Not sure if performance is affected by doing that or not...but I noticed there's a slight hissing sound when I vape lol.
All in all, I am like a kid with a new toy. Been busy trying out the Griz's pick & mix juice.... Caught myself keep sniffing the carts as it smell sooooooo good hehehe I am loving this vapping adventure but more importantly no more analogue or that rank smell! How about yourself?

Weird, isn't it, how important the visuals are when vaping!

Vaping outside on a frosty morning is wonderful, just for the plumes of vapour that mix with frosted breath.

Vaping in the dark holds no pleasure whatsoever, same as vaping on a windy day.

Nicotine isn't the most addictive aspect of smoking; I am sure of that.....

yeah I had a bit of trouble to start with lack of vapour, turns out that was a dodgy atomiser. I went ot a local curry house on friday night with hubby, was very nervous about being in public with it, as like your self I'd not seen anyone else vaping before. I made hubby ask if it was ok to use in the restraunt, and once he had explained there was no tobacco in it they seemed happy enough to let me carry on. Although I did try to keep it quiet, blowing under the table etc lol. Strangely the more I had to drink the less I was hiding it lol.

Saturday I went to check out the local gay pride parade, man that was colourful and vaped away in the crowd, I think I was the least of their attention lol.

I think I've found it easier vaping outside of the house, purely because of routine. I've noticed when sittin gon the sofa I still reach for the analogues and have to correct myself to the digital. I have cut down to about 10 analogues a day atm, which is a huge improvement for me

I get that slight hissing noise too lol I thought maybe I was sucking to much or something.

I think I'm also going to check out some of the pick and mix options, might be nice to see what else is available out there, but I think for now the tobacco will be my main staple, nice to have a change sometimes though

It's been 2 weeks of me vaping away now. Feels like it's been more than that though! Most probably because there's so many things to do & I always feel like time flies fast!! For example Christmas is only 4 months away

Anyway back to vaping. It was a smooth transition for me. Thankfully. I stopped using analogue the day I switched. I vape a few times whilst at work but chain vaping when I am at home - I am a very happy bunny lol. Still content with my Riva 1100. I try to avoid looking at other pv to avoid temptation. However I made a mistake by looking at GGTS recently... now all I can think about is what a gorgeous magnificent tough looking thing! So I had to counsel myself repeatedly by saying I am new I am new I am new. Wait for a year

Juice - There is sooooooooooooo many to try! So far I love the fruity & sweet-ish ones. Realised that I do not like throat hit. Which is very weird considering that I was a smoker for so long! Now all I want is taste & vapour. So future orders will be zero nicotine for sure. Any advice on the PG/VG mix please?

Accessories, I only tried 2 so far. Well 3 if you count the eGo carrying case which is very useful. The carto is very good. Plus point - I don't need to top up for quite a while. Sort of minus point - my friends keep saying it looks dodgy lol. Probably because I am using the clear ones. Drip tip - I love this Excellent for trying out new juices. Instead of filling up the whole cart, I just drip a few drops directly unto the atomizer then vape away. I don't even mind doing this when I am out & about. So now I just need to buy all those shiny colourful pretty looking drip tips (though I have to admit my logical thinking is questioning why because since I only have 2 pv, I should only need 2 drip tips lol)

To sum it all up, my journey has been well & good. I am glad that it wasn't an infatuation, a short lived affair between me & a gadget lol. I don't post frequently but I do come here almost everyday to read. So thank you everyone for sharing your stories & tips. It helps, tremendously

Im with you on the GGTS, its gorgeous isn't it, im hoping i might find one under the tree at christmas

I love my drip tips and have lots of girly colours, so much more interesting than smoking anologs lol!

'Zero Nicotine' might be a big jump for the system Baking. Have you though about reducing the nic content?

With regards to PG/VG, if you don't want as much throat hit and like more flavour - go for higher VG content mixes
