postimage always returning invalid file error

I'm really puzzled as to why some folks are having problems using the "add image to post"

Could all those having problems, please check that they have javascript enabled -

And it can't be browser related either as Pepperty has had no problems uploading her pic using Chrome

Yep, I'm using Chrome too.

Could it be something to do with the format the pictures were originally saved in?

I wondered that to begin with Karma, but fiddles said in an earlier post that he has tried every format.

I have tried saving pics you & others have already posted on this thread and re adding to a post but still get invalid file error

fiddles have you got access to another computer? If so it would be interesting to see if you still have the same problem.

I'm really stumped with this, so if anyone has any other ideas, please let us know.

So to summarise -

It's not browser related.

It's not file type or size related.

Javascript is enabled.

And it's not PC related.

I'm like crazy & the only other things I can think of are firewall, AV or maybe even router causing the problem?

i am getting same problem now, i have always used it no problem on chrome, what with all the slow downs, attacks to servers and updates no wonder it aint working. tried diff pics and same error

Just tested it and failed. Same message as above invalid or connection error using I.E
