Right - in my shopping cart I have a spinner and a mini protank. Do I need anything else - coil heads?
Thanks

I just checked the link Effington posted in the first post - To that TABLites Cyclone kit. It comes with an Ego 650mah battery, I mean, that's essentially the same battery that comes with the Mini Protank kit (albeit a Kanger/Evod branded version), so for now she already has one of those. Although it's odd that in the wee video linked on that page, the battery in the dude's hands look like my miniature 400mah battery.. :s Artistic licence? Eff, does the battery you have look as small as the one in that vid? Or is it a bit bigger in reality? I'm just curious. A *Mini* Protank would look perfectly fine on that battery imho, I use mine sometimes on a 400mah stealth-vape batt although I agree with many posters here that for versatility going forward getting a spinner/twist batt would be a sensible move, both for having a backup between charges, and for the inherent usefulness of the spinner by itself, it is just better than a "regular" 650mah ego/510 battery. My twist is my all day battery, and I only use the 650mah Evod battery that came with my Mini Protank kit for when (such as right now) the twist is on charge. Best of luck Eff!

The joose juice testers are great but they do need steeping anything from 1 to 3 weeks to get the full flavour

Thanks bigjim
I've ordered the spinner thing in black and a mini protank - not the starter kit as I figured like you say that this battery I have will work as a 'spare' for now.
I've also ordered some tasters from JJ.
Now then - what's all this about steeping - do I need to set up a mini lab in my spare room with every liquid I buy?!

Now then - what's all this about steeping - do I need to set up a mini lab in my spare room with every liquid I buy?! Heh "Steeping" is just the act of letting the juice "settle" so to speak for a while before you use it, makes them taste much nicer. For example, I got some 10ml bottles from JooseJuice a while back, tried them the day they came & tasted horrible (to me). I just stuck them in a drawer for a fortnight, and it was like a totally different world, they tasted really good when I came back to them. That's because their stuff is freshly made. However, if I go to my local bricks & mortar shop and buy a bottle of whatever-flavour juice, I can take it home, fill up a tank & it's ready to go - Probably because it was manufactured weeks or months ago & has been sitting on a shelf for however-long. Some people are a bit pro, and use things like a small ultrasonic cleaner (the things you use to clean jewellery & eye glasses) to speed up the process, basically cramming a fortnight's standing into an evening, but I'm too simple-things-for-simple-folk for that, so I just leave fresh juice to stand for a while, and make do with shop-bought stuff for a week or so before I crack open freshly-made juices. There's a bum-load of info on this forum about steeping if you're interested, but I dunno, for me there was so much to take in when I first started that I didn't really look into it until I was more used to the simple fact I was getting off the fags, you know?

Thanks Good - because i'm already finding it overwhelming, the thought of having to be organised enough at the moment to steep as well was a bit daunting!! I did though by a coffee flavour liquid which is lovely but which I don't find very strong - so much so that I can't be bothered with it right now. It's now in a shoebox with the lid off and just because I know when I come to look for it I will have forgotten where it was, please remember that it's in the right hand warddrobe, top shelf. Thank you

I use Mini Protanks and their big brothers on my 1300mah Spinner, and they are awesome, you will find a mahoosive difference in the vape, throat hit and flavour that you get effington. Don't panic about steeping, just buy in advance and always have some steeping somewhere (top shlelf, right hand wardrobe!), Keep us posted, and do ask if you have any more questions, we have a wealth of experience between us and can point you in the right direction

Hi effington, and welcome to the forum. The help and advice is great on here. I, too, am new to vaping (three weeks in ) and also started off with the tobacco flavor juice but very quickly tried some other flavors. For me the best are ginger, cinnamon and mint. I have found out that the flavor makes a big difference to the hit you get and I'm still experimenting. As I'm fairly new to this I cannot offer advice on equipment but I would strongly advise you to experiment with the juice, it really does make a difference.

Hi again
Thanks so much for all your help the other day.
Well.... my vision spinny thing and mini protank arrived and got going with them definitely. Loving the added oomph from the battery but not entirely sure I like the metal tip of the protank - it's cold! Also it doesn't seem to give the same kind of draw (resistance?) as the disposable clearomisers I was using - am i doing something wrong or is that just the way it is?
Now just need to get the flavours right. I have a nice butterscotch, a cafe brasiliano which are quite nice. I got chocolate, strawberries and cream from joosjuice - strawberries and cream I don't think I like, chocolate can't taste at all so have put both away for a while and will revisit later.
I have some on order from a link on here - can't remember where now and I forget which flavour - nice surprise when they arrive tomorrow!
So all I need to do now is to get over the psychological thing of not smoking. I was away with business Monday and Tuesday and deliberately arrived with no fags - managed two days and then when I came home bought another pack which I'm most of the way through (although that's still a 75% reduction).
Those of you who didn't stop straightaway, how did you ditch them finally?
Many thanks

effingtonYou will find that all BCC are a slightly airy draw by comarison to other clearos. easy fix is to use candle wax or bluetack in one of the air holes on the base collar. Sounds silly, but it does work. As to the cold driptip, you will become accustomed to it in time. The trick about stopping the smokes totally is IMHO to not care about how many you have smoked...don't let it play on your mind and eventually when you find the right kit/juice combiation you will be fine
