DJS - the variable thing wasn't out of the box - was just scrubbling around at the back of their desk so may not have been charged?? Not having a go at the shop, they were super helpful on the flavours! So the variable battery link above plus a protank you think would do the oomphness?! A variable battery should be OK, even if almost discharged. I was referring to a Protank out of the box as they tend to have standard resistance atomizers. These on a regular battery will be weak. (5.5 watts or so). Whereas on a Spinner, you can get up to 7 or 8 watts easily. (Sorry, probably getting complicated here....) In essence, with a Spinner (or Twist) battery, you can turn up the power, giving more vapour, more satisfaction and more nicotine in less puffs. My day to day use set-up is a Spinner with a mini Protank. I can get as good a vape off this as an expensive big e-cig. - - - It also occurs to me that many of us took weeks (or more) to get over the finishing line. I was still smoking in the morning 2 weeks in. Keep at it.

Ah right DJS - no I didn't try the protank just the variable battery..
I might try that mini protank starter kit for now and then buy the variable battery next pay day, or at least next week then I can pretend that I'm being sensible about budgeting!

Get yourself a couple of spinners and a couple of mini protanks and you'll be happy as a pig in .... 18mg is spot on I think if you're using a spinner and feel it's not enough you can just crank it up a notch;)

effingtonHi and welcome to AAEC. Ahh hell just jump right in I say, for an extensive battery life and a couple of great clearomisers: myepack.co.uk/mods/itaste-mvp-v2-0.htmlAnd when after 1 or 2 days you need to charge it, get a spare battery, spinner or twist if you want, but just to fill in a good 1000mah batt would do. If your just starting off, the best advice I can offer is to think of the fags you haven't had rather than the ones you have. Good lick and we are all here to help

I have bought that kit twice now. Once for a spare battery and mini protank. Once for another mini protank and to give the battery to a cleaner at work.

Hello & welcome effingtonI agree, above all you need a spare battery ;0 I agree with Chrissie. 2 batteries are a minimum really. If you have your existing one, add an evod battery (kit) and then get a Spinner, that's just about perfect. If a mini protank is £10 and the charger/replacement heads are worth a fiver, say, then the battery is £5 or something. It probably seems a lot (maybe excessive) but across the forums, you'll find a large proportion of committed vapers start with a 2 battery kit and then add either a) a Spinner or Twist or b) a mod. The Spinner can improve things no end...and a mod...well, I just value the battery life more than the features.
