SVD trouble

After 3 months '-' button on my Innokin SVD stops working. Now I have round-robbin variable watage mod. Did anyone try to repair his SVD? I have no idea, how to open it.

alansi ...I can't find anything about the svd but here is a video about stripping down and rebuilding a vamo which might be of help.

The same thing happened to mine, same button too. I got the top off mine. The top is threaded (normal thread) made of brass so you need to be careful, mine was REALLY tight so I couldn`t get it off without making marks on the top. The wire that is connected to the centre pin will twist as you try and unscrew the top. At that point, I decided I could live with it. My button still works but has lost it`s springyness and "click". Hope this is some help to you alansi
There is probably a tool that you can get which would fit the recesses in the ego threading. You may even be able to unscrew it with long nose pliers and fit the jaws around the recesses.

Today SVD meets MOD's Heaven - now no button working, at battery change it shows '888', then the last set power (7W) and stays in this position. No change at any button pressing. Did anybody knows anything about Fasttech 6 month waranty? I ordered this MOD at the end of June 2013... ???
