Dan i don't change that much between juices and if i needed to i have the Davide Mega and Mini too fall back on IF needed, tbh i could stick with one flavor all day like Afro Dizziac or for change go to a bit of RY4 Nutzilla and on my lazy indulgence moments Vanilla Custard

Have used : Listed in order of preference. Blue Foam - From John at Flavourart Juwel Pads - From Whitefog, purchased with my Taifun Sera Wool - From Ebay or Amazon (can't remember which) Been using the same pieces of Blue foam for at least 6 months & it still looks new after a quick rinse & pat dry. For the Spheroid & A7oid i find the Blue Foam easier to work with & easier to guage the right amount of filler material to pack in there, i always struggled to get the right amount with Sera Wool for effective wicking & gave up in frustration, i found the Juwel Pads much easier but the Blue Foam is spot on for me. Can't speak for the Dreamoid which i think is 20mm diameter but i have an Olympus Hybrid which is 22mm set up in Oid mode & the Blue Foam does a good job in this atty too. Thankyou very much! So are your preferences purely based on ease of build? Or is there a difference in the vape too? Do they all hold the same amount of juice without leaking? As far as you can make out, is this the same foam that you use? I'm going to my local aquatic supply store tomorrow morning and want to get the best I can.. if I then decide that I like the oid experience I can then look at getting a dedicated oid atty such as the spheroid early next year..

Thanks 300 i suppose it will have to do with Juwel Pads i got from Amazon or some of that GP Fluff version 2 from Vapourart. Saying that i am getting ahead of myself, i ain't even got a spheroid yet So you've bought the filler but not the atty? Jumping the gun somewhat ain't ya! Tease-smiley

Doesn't look the same to me, this looks quite coarse & much more open if that makes sense

I can't comment on the foam you linked to on Amazon, what i can say is that John at Vapourart reckoned he spent a long time researching before he found the right stuff, the piece i got from him is about 6mm thick & has quite a tight cell structure. This was my experience with all 3 filler materials, Sera Wool works fine but it can take ages to find the right balance between dry hits & overwicking, the Juwel Pads are much easier to work with than the Sera Wool & performs about the same, the Blue Foam seems to hold more juice but more importantly it also seems to release the juice at just the right amount. For the Spheroid it's a single wrap with no overlapping, when the taste starts to fade just top off with 20/30 drops & you're good to go again.

These are the options that my local store offers but I don't know which one is going to suit my needs better.. juwel biflow sponge juwel biflow poly padsMy problem with the foam is cutting it to a suitable thickness neatly.. would take forever to get the same 1mm thickness as the pads!!

Ooooh intriguing!! Now the silly question.. it says its 10% pg, does that mean it comes in liquid form ready to use? How strong is it in comparison to sweetener? For instance if a recipe calls for 2% sweetener how much of that would I use?

For instance if a recipe calls for 2% sweetener how much of that would I use? Yes, it's pre-diluted Dan, you can also get the crystals and dilute yourself: www.flavourart.co.uk/vanillin-crystals-50gms-843-p.aspI don't find it especially sweet, more a creamy vanilla, so I normally add 1% sweetener and 1% Vanillin to a recipe . . . that seems to work quite nicely and not be so much of a coil gunker as just sweetener by itself. 300 anywhere else you know off to buy the blue foam? I use this blue foam from James in my Spheroid Super-Shiny: paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/blue-foam-cart-fillerone-square-piece-p-90.html

How big are those sqiares out of interest? For the sake of 60p + p&p it saves me driving 20miles out of my way to the aquatic store!

I think they're about 10cm square. Certainly enough to get 2 ' fills ' out of for the Spheroid, as 300 says it lasts for yonks without deteriorating, a quick rinse/pat dry and it's good to go again.
