hello all, back from holiday in sunny Marmaris and having to adjust to real life. i was just getting used to lazing around doing nothing but drinking and eating

I even threw caution to the wind and had a go at Flyboarding! superb fun, was completely exhausted after 20 minutes and felt as if i had gone 10 rounds with Tyson, came out two stone heavier due to all the seawater i had swallowed. video of Flyboarding if you know not of what i speak (not me in the video i hasten to add, though i did get the hang of the "Dolphin diving")

been to Turkey a few times but this was the first time to Marmaris, it really is quite beautiful, my wife would have been content to sit on the balcony and look at the view for the whole holiday, i'm sure we will go again, temperature on one day reached 42 degrees, not even the flies would put a leg out from under the shade. most days between 25 to 30 degrees and dropping to about 20 at night, so glad the room had air-con.

42 deg pah, we had that in the Black Forest in Germany year before last, and no aircon lol we left after a few days and headed into France where it was a balmy 30 or so

I must be getting old and worn out though. I have travelled and lived in so many countries over the years, the travel bug seems to have left me. I love looking at all the wonderful destinations, but lost the urge to go anywhere!
