Can't fault this hudl yet. Still not rooted, as I DID follow the instructions and charge It for 3 hours before I started. Well pleased so far for £80, and like crin766 said, after 45 days, Tesco is just down the road, not across the sea.

Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 It allows access for some (potentially dangerous) programs to be run on it. If you're not familiar with Linux and/or modifying/messing about with android, you've got a lot of reading ahead. So far though the stock Hudl seems excellent for the money If you don't know what rooting is, you probably don't,need to do it.

The idea of having just purchased a Hudl seems to get better and better. I rooted it last night, and got rid of all the tesco bloatware and the annoying little [T] button at the bottom. Will be installing picuntu Linux in the recovery partition later today (will dual boot with android), so looks like this WILL replace my dodgy old laptop, which now has a dodgy keyboard & even Dodgier gfx card. And best of all - Tescos have just released the kernel source code for these little puppies, so watch the custom ROMs start rolling out

At this rate, there won't be any Hudls left y the time I am ready to get one for my granddaughter. I have had to fork out £650 to get a wheelchair hoist fitted to my car, which means I can't afford to get one for a couple of weeks

BlownupdollyThere's 5 Tesco Extra stores within easy driving distance of me, and could I get a Hudl? Nope - I had to order online & get it delivered to the store about 1/2 mile away! And It looks like the purple folk are now in luck - they finally seem to have purple ones in stock.

Same here, no stores had them so had to order online, didn't bother me as it was free delivery and it's a Christmas prezzy so no rush to use it.

Glad they have the purple as that's the one I want. Why they didn't do pink for the little girls I don't know! GD is obsessed with pink like many little girls. Seems odd to me.
