I have 100ml steeping in an open vessel but im wondering if it would be better split into smaller bottles. Would it make any difference to the speed of the process?

I saw a good post explaining the homogenization process but there must be some oxidisation taking place as the liqued changes colour. I have my bottle on it's side to allow as much air contact as possible

crin766If the bottle in question is truly watertight, lay it in warm (not hot) water and give a good shake every couple of hours. Good idea every day to open the top to allow fresh air in.

I have it in one of these so it's tilted over at an angle and sat on my combi boiler where it's nice and warm. I've been squeezing the air out to allow fresh in a few times a day and giving it a good shake. Its only been in there for 36 hours but seems to be coming along nicely - even vaped a tank of it last night and it's good! Not gvc good yet but the signs are good

A few days ( may have been a week ) mixed VC . . . all in different nicotine strengths: After 2-3 weeks: Beware of warming it for too long a period crin766, otherwise you may cause some degradation of flavour/nic strength . . . now that the infusing process has started, I'd tuck the bottle away in a cupboard or drawer and forget about it for 3 or 4 weeks.
