Haven't seen one of these for years but it's obviously like riding a bicycle - once you know how then it comes back to you!!!!

They are rather good. I was bought books of them years ago & yep, once you have the knack, you don't lose it. @freefromsmoking, just click on the pic & you can cheat all will be revealed.

Aw jess where's the sense of satisfaction? @freefromsmoking when these were popular in the olden days, several methods were promoted for enabling the viewer to 'see' the 3D effect, can't remember any of the others apart from they mostly involved screwing your face up and looking very silly. What works for me is to unfocus my eyes somewhere just off centre of the picture - you might need to 'unfocus' up, down or sideways. Don't go for the easy option - once you have mastered it, it will stay with you for ever (or a long time).

It took me ages to 'see'my first one - they used to be very popular and I was teaching 'naughty boys' at the time; anything to get a few minutes of peace and harmony was worth its weight in gold - I bought several books and worked hard to master the technique. I am surprised that a. I can still do it and b. it translates to a screen.

You've said what to do, so hopefully FFS will try again & see it properly. Here's hoping! ETA: www.magiceye.com/enter.html you can see several more on 'Image of the Week'.

I cant see it. Ive tried squinting, focusing somewhere to the side of it, staring, moving my head back and forth, and looking away then quickly looking back suddenly to try and surprise it but still nothing. Driving me a bit menthol to be honest.

I used to be brilliant at these but I just can't get this one. I keep seeing the picture starting to shift the way they do for a second before the image pops out, but I can't get any further than the starting to shift point, it keeps going away again after that.

This one is a tough one! Took me ages to see it and I had to cheat to figure it out lol.
Did you know, you can use a similar trick with the eyes to view 3d tv when you don't have 3d? It has to be the side by side images not the ones pre over layered.
Basically, go crossed eyed and as the 2 images meet in the middle, focus on the new 3rd image... when its clear, it's 3d!
I did it for a bit watching the opening ceremony for the Olympics lol.
