How do you acknowledge other vapers you see out and about or do they acknowledge you? I got thinking about this on the way home. Today I have seen two vapers which is unusual. The first was a guy having a vape outside our building (in London ) when I went outside for my vape break. I noticed him as I walked past but no acknowledgement, do being bold up i went andsaid hi and asked him what he was vaping and how long, 2 min convoy. Then on the way from the office to the station I say a lady walking along bishopsgate having a sly vape, almost looking down as if a bit embarrassed. I then thought about how motorcyclists acknowledge each other on the road and vdubbers have their hand sign and wondered why fellow vapers can't even acknowledge each other in the street Is it because most peeps are embarrassed by it. It's not the first time it's happened. Maybe it's Me or maybe that's just London What da think?

Just the normal lift your vape gear up and nod and go from there.

Let's see what others say before I blame the London peeps. I do find it different in certain environments. When I was delivering some live fish last year one of the guys was quite chatty at the Fishery but that was a smaller group of peeps, not walking down the street

I never see any other vapers - I work in Greenwich and whilst I see loads of smokers, i haven't seen anyone with an e-cig of any variety. As for a greeting, I'd like to think I'd raise my protank in a cheers-like motion but I'd probably do the usual London thing and avoid making eye contact

I find it quite easy and no-one yet has been anything but pleasant and chatty with me. First I tend to ask them what flavour they are vaping and how long they've been using the e-cigs, then the conversation just seems to flow on from there.

toots - The London thing is weird - I think it's just so many people in such a small place, so there's a higher concentration of people you wouldn't want to chat to per square mile

Then on the way from the office to the station I say a lady walking along bishopsgate having a sly vape, almost looking down as if a bit embarrassed. They are probably scared of getting mugged for it I was born in London and lived there for over 30 years and the area i lived in London was a hell hole (i lived in N1 area - Hoxton to be precise) My next door neighbor was a pedo, next door to him, never came out, next door to him, crack dealer, next door to him racist and so on and so on

If I ever do see another vaper I would do exactly as rosco said - haven't seen one yet though !

I think that people who have not lived in London don't understand the way of life there. I was born and bred in South London and could not ever imagine walking down the Old Kent Road waving a Provari at a fellow vaper as there would be some low life s**t head who would fancy his chances to extract it from my possession ...........................to no avail I might add
