Menthol crystals

Today i got some menthol crystals from the chemist to try and make some blueberry /menthol e liquid how many menthol crystals do i need to ad to 10ml of liquid for a strong/medium flavor. Thanks for any help

It's easier to half fill an empty 10ml bottle with crystals, then fill up with PG & give it a darn good shake & even a warm, to help dissolve the crystals.
That way you have your menthol ready & you just need to add a few drops to your liquids, to your preferred taste.

I'd be inclined to make up a small bottle of menthol concentrate, it won't take a moment, the crystals dissolve really quickly in PG Tez. 3 seconds in the microwave finishes off the job . . . then add a few drops at a time to your Blueberry.

That way you'll have more control over the strength than adding the crystals directly.

Would that work with VG my PG hasn't arrived yet .I USE 10% VODKA to dilute the VG

No they won't dilute in VG . . . you could try crushing the Crystals and adding them to neat Vodka. But if your eliquid is VG heavy then they'll very possibly reform.

Thanks for the replys i will wait a few days for the PG to arrive but at least i now know what to do

tez it may be wise to use a small glass bottle to dissolve the crystals in the microwave (plastic could melt) i use any empty miniature whisky bottle (kept for this reason) i crush half a pot of menthol crystals in pestle & mortar then funnel them in to the bottle add approx 5ml PG then microwave for 4 - 5 seconds put lid on & shake, after this you can add another 5ml of PG & you will still have strong menthol.

Plastic is fine if you only leave it for a couple of seconds Di . . . your Menthol Concentrate must be super strong if you use 2.5 grams at a time.

The thought of what a microwave can do to plastic is enough  for me Mandy thats why i use a glass bottle, the 2.5 gram is what is needed when crushed to half fill a 10ml bottle, i put 10ml of nic base to the menthol after i have done the above that i told tez about, this then makes approx 25ml total.
Of the ones among us that use menthol we put 6.5ml of cherry (with nic base) or whatever & 3.5ml of menthol mix (with nic base in) per 10ml bottle.
If Tez was just using it as a concentrate the above mix would be fine just to add a few drops to his blueberry or whichever juice he was using, my sister uses it as a concentrate all the time as she likes menthol in all her juices.

I just add 3-4 crystals to the juice direct and give it a good shake. But then again I am a lazy devil.
