Cold ? Nah us Yorkshire folk dont believe in it. Some of us dont even bother with such luxuries as windows, flippin new fangled things. Gaping great holes in your walls, thats what you want. Get some fresh air your lungs. you are lucky, when I were a lad we didn't have walls .. lived in the open in the middle of a wind swept field we did ...you don't know you've got it made you modern lot!  |

a FIELD, a whole field of your own, luxury NO! we shared our field with hundreds of other families .... the soft upper class families (those who could afford clothes) lived in the suburbs of the field where they had the shelter of the hedgerows ... we naked peasants lived in the middle slums which were open to the elements.  |
