Hi Neil, I saw a photo of justpoo's Aluminium prototype over on UKV yesterday, and decided straight away, I NEED one of these! The v1 is brill but seasoned oak just isn't as shiney as a slab of ali

Could you put me down for one if/when you end up producing them please?

Hi Si, I saw your post over on UKV

I hope to have something to show mid week`ish, providing things run smoothly. The Ver.2 will have more features than justpoo`s as that one was based on the V1. Just awaiting a couple of items in the post to finalise but I will keep everyone updated on both forums.

Greigster mate, I have a confession to make ... I am a tight bugga, so I copied your excellent coil buddy design and made my own ... However I have to congratulate you as it has made coil making a breeze with nicely spaced coils which are just the right tightness with the 1.5 mm drill bit. It is a lot easier to do when one end of the wire is held in place while you wind the coil ... looking forward to making a microcoil when my butane torch arrives from the East .... well done mate and apologies once again.
