Fireworks!

Adaptil been plugged in for weeks.  10mg diazepam.  He's still shaking like a leaf!

Awww!! Poor wee doggie

Mine doesn't mind the noise at all, she's just been going to the door for a quick growl now and again then back to her bean bag for a nap! (And the fireworks are going off over our house right now!  ... Neighbourhood!!    )


We did have one dog that did not like the fireworks a few years back, only solution we found was to close the curtains, put an action movie on the TV and switch the volume up to cover the noise outside, seemed to work!

(Didn't half give us a buzzing noise in the ears though, felt like you'd been in the darn movie! Lol!)

Di I can't think straight for all the 'noise' we have going on here to cover up the outside noise

I need to go to the loo again, don't ask jess what that entails

28 paws being pacified here...............not to mention the 3 cats.......& the hedgehog has hibernated in his house I think..........

Ah, but you didn't mention t'was cos of the fireworks, Karma, I just thought you were weird, plus I'm in peaceful France & didn't give it a thought.

My cat dont mind the fireworks....its me that hates them....started last friday one went off last night shook the bloody windows made me jump, cat didnt flinch

My fur baby hides under my legs. I have a recliner chair and rest my legs up. She scurries under the flap. Trouble is, I forget she's under there, and she's too scared to come out, so when I press the button to shut the flap down to get up she gets caught inside the chair!! Dozy git! I do feel sorry for her, but really, what's worse? Listening to bangs, or being turned into a furry pancake?

Awww Karma sorry to hear the stress levels are rising for you too!!

My cat used to go out and watch all the chaos, I think he was a properly evil kitty and revelled in the discomfort of other animals. . .

Oh and anyone partaking of our fine political celebrations I think Mr Fawkes can now be retired in favour of Mr Meany or Ms McFlammable.

I have taken my dog out for his last walk of the .day..he don't give a s..t about the whizzes and bangs, just as long as he gets out so he can sniff where his mates have been and pee's all over it.
