if at all!
had my turn of racing over to the sorting office to pick up something with failed delivery ... oh ok, i'll say it again, was my new shiny VTR.... anyhoo whatever happened to leaving stuff in a plant pot, under the doormat (do people still have these?!) with a neighbour or tied to the local moggy?
was annoying only because it was 2nd thing not delivered. the other is parcel force who will attempt delivery tomorrow when NO ONE IS IN again....

i shall have to beg my neighbour to sign for it

Saw a RM advert on TV today "We deliver 1 billion packages a year" or some such when it should say "We deliver 1 billion packages. . . . Well OK about a third of them are little red cards of angriness."

I don't have any problems with my postie, he has my permission to post all 'signed for' parcels, if he is in any doubt he rings the bell, knock the door and the window, he say it's in case I am in the 'loo room', bless him!

Our postie used to be excellent - but I think we have got a new one in the past few weeks. He used to always leave parcels with my neighbours or he used to put them in a box in my garden, but since I've started vaping I've had more cars than Xmas. Luckily the sorting office isn't a big detour on my way to work!

mine doesn't even ring? ( even though I have plug in bell ringers all over the house) I'm deaf as a doorpost? unless the dog kicks off barking like a beast --- I'll never hear him. Lost count of amounts of times I've ran after my postman (in my pjs)

Mind you, I should, seeing as the other day I spotted him when returning in car, so leapt out and chased him down street - wasn't so impressed when he uttered 'didn't recognise you with your clothes on' ?!?!? so hope none of the neigbours heard him....
