Also just to add I have been using only 1 of the batterys since friday and it still hasn't gone flat yet.

Its the same as going into somewhere like spar and getting bottle of vodka and that could be fake. It has happened as I watched a documentary on trading standards going round stores checking the alcohol

Ego isn't a brand as such but a common design. So there really aren't any fake egos. It's a bit like Digestive Biscuits, you get different makes but none are fakes as such. But some certainly taste better than others.

A couple of very popular vendors have recently stopped selling Joyetech products as the prices are just silly. It doesn't mean they are now selling fake goods and when asked would be able to show you the data safety sheets for the products. Also they spend a lot of time researching their suppliers and testing their goods.

Safety marks can certainly be faked though

As the saying goes...... "The proof is in the pudding !"  I've bought ego type batteries from analogue shops that haven't lasted that long
