Juices - PG and VG

Hi all.

I'm looking to get some juices from joosejuice, but am not sure what the PG and VG ratios should be.
I'm guessing that PG is Propylene Glycol.
Does the ratio affect the taste of the juice ?

I would be glad of any info on this. Thanks.

More pg will give you more throat hit and flavour and more vg will give you more vapour. Pg also has a sweetness to it which adds to the juice.
Most people are around the 60pg 40vg mark or 50pg 50vg.

Thanks Roscopecotrain that helps a lot   was going to order it at 100% PG .. I'm glad I asked first.

I have vaped 100% PG. It's not great....

Mostly I buy 70/30 and make 80/20.

50/50 is superb, but it's thick and can take too long to soak into certain wicks (for me).

Thanks djs I think I'll start at 60/40 and see how it goes from there

50/50 for me...I find if its too loaded with vg it makes it sweeter but gives oooodles of vapour..pg ..as they say gives more throat hit.

My pleasure mate. I vape 60/40 and make 60/40 and then make menthol 100%vg as the menthol still has that kick.

Roscopecotrain I was under the impression that VG gave more flavour and sweetness, am I wrong ???

I mostly vape entirely 100% PG, but sometimes I like a cloud of vapour, and some of the things I have on the go are about 80% VG

I don't think either has more flavour, but for me VG adds a sweetish taste which PG doesn't. But I often use bitter wizard in my mixes even with PG.

I am pretty sure pg gives better flavour toots but maybe i have the sweetness bit round the wrong way.

Yes I think its vg that's sweeter Roscopecotrain but you are right about pg carrying flavour better.

welcome tom to aaec

when I first started tom I vaped 70/30 but now find I prefer 50/50 or 60/40,,,
make sure you leave to steep for a week or two, it alters the flavours a lot!
