So, after a week of practicing I think I have now cracked the re coiling of protank and davide heads, getting between 2.0 and 2.4 ohms each time. What is the best ohms or what should I be aiming to get ohms way? I am using .2 kanthal and 1.5 ekowool and also 1.5 bamboo wool (not at the same time ) cheers peeps

Less ohms will put more power through the coil at the same volts. If you have a vv or vw device the ohms don't matter, within reason - 2.4 should be fine, you may have to turn up the volts a bit. If you are on a fixed volt or mech mod then the vape may be a bit feeble unless the ohms are lower than that.

For cc's V3's i always aim for just under 2ohms as she can then turn the spinner up or down to suit.

Giles, I only use vv/vw devices, evic is now everyday use (bought from classies here) backed up by my vamo v3 (bought from I fancy one in tamworth) and my zmax v3 which mainly only has igo w on it. Not ventured into the scary world of mech mods yet

Can't help with an answer davyc but just so happy I have spotted a fellow Coventrian at long last. I keep pointing people in this direction, but you're the first one I've spotted.

Not going to say what I think of being here but it has it's good points. shame a good b&m vape shop is not in the city, smoke no smoke is ok for emergencies but very expensive and the new one, what's it called, u drag or something like that is just a joke, they tried to tell me that as a heavy smoker I should only be going through 1.6 ml a week so I would only need a 10ml bottle a month and even recommended a juice that was only about 12mg in strength. Glad I found this forum when I did or I would still be on the analogues......three month free now

I looked at smokenosmoke website and yes VERY expensive , and I'm with you on the shop in the city centre, a joke. Are you into mixing yet? Its the way to go my friend. I was a heavy smoker for 46 years, between 20-30 roll ups a day and I have been off the stinkies for 1 year and 1 week now. I vape 18mg and get through about 2 ml a day. I am in Wyken so if ever you're desperate just drop me a PM. You never know , I might have something kicking around that may be vapeable ........................Sue

I normally get 1.8 to 2.1 on my rebuilds so your about right, remember lower ohms drains a battery slightly quicker
