Just thinking out loud here, I think you are gonna need the lengths of wire a little longer to allow for the connection to the screws etc, depending on how each individual is connecting their coil. If you cut the wire exactly, by the time you have it connected up in the atty, you will have used some of the length underneath the screws (and lessened the resistance). It would probably be more critical in sub ohm coils which would start off shorter.............................or then again, I could be talking bollox

chrisjw I had to open it with this -"Microsoft Open XML Converter". I had the same problem as you when I tried to just use Office So I found the file in downloads (the file had an exclamation mark on it) and then right clicked on it and went to the "Open With" button and used the "Microsoft Open XML converter"

It says file viewer should make it work, but it doesn't......it opens it, but that's all.

It's hardly worth d/l Open Office for it though...............I like my coils hit & miss.......adds more fun to it.............

I`m with you on that, I have an atty resistance measuring thingy due any day. Maybe connect a couple of leads to an old 510 dripper with crock clips and connect one lead to the end of the kanthal and slide the other crock clip up the wire until it is the right resistance and snip it off at that point
