I was a Very heavy smoker of roll ups, and realised the first time I tried a Mates e-cig @ 24mg was too high for me. Good luck and enjoy Vaping!! Yes. I too smoked roll ups and only used 24mg in pathetic little supermarket e-cigs. If I ever have 24mg juice now (I do have some) I take it very easy in a "proper" e-cig. - - -

aha! worry not. They are generally 'all the same thing' What would be described as an 'Ego fitment (510) ' You buy a starter kit, comes with a pair of batteries (510 fitment) almost every tank will screw onto it, and theres loads of tank options. You can get throwaway tanks - they are called ce4 (used up in 2- 6 weeks) or replaceable coil tanks ie. iclear16 or evods (you keep tank, throwaway the coil/filter part and replace @ about £1.50 replacement part?) <<both plastic Or you can get a glass (pryrex tank) they are protank minis or mini davides (just different brands really?) -- both use the same replaceable coils in the bottom bit they are all fairly similar

I've added a photo - my starter kit looked like this? is that what you have in mind as acceptable for use?
I'm not sure you can gauge size from my photo, but anyways, if I am vaping on top spout part, the 650mAh battery is in my palm, and doesn't stick out past my clenched hand? so its fairly subtle.............

Your one doesnt look too bad , which one is it?? I was looking at the kanger mini protank....any views? Thanks for your help in advance...

the tank part, yes -- almost all are interchangeable with the battery ( as long as you stick to well known brands) I personally LOVE and use kanger mini protanks, thats because when I started with a kit I could taste plastic (from tanks AND mouthpeice) and it made me feel ill. I think I'm unusual as loads of people don't have an issue, but if you are happy to pay the almost £10 for a mini protank (which is well worth it as the replacement coils are cheap) and tank last forever - as long as you dont bounce it on kitchen tiles :-/I can say that's a brilliant choice (my POV)

What I did is buy mini protank ( it comes with 2 coils) so you put one on, have a spare, you can wash out tank - I'd suggest every fortnight? soak used coil in an eggcup with some bicarb of soda for a day or two whilst using other one, then pop the used soaked 1 on radiator to dry and in 2 weeks time use the clean/ washed/dried one whilst doing same to other one, that way the two coils should last months!! Then, for new coils, order from fasttech ( china) it takes ages, 4 weeks probably for coil order but if you get 5 ordered, for about 6 dollars? you will have them in for when you need them! sorted Heres a photo of my mini protank on my itaste vv battery ( its 800 mAH so longer than 1st photo but feels good in my hand) not the best pic, but least you can see mini protank on longer battery

I've just remembered, myepack have a reduced Mini protank on an evod battery for 20 quid reduced from 30 which I thought was a good deal. I'm on my phone but if a member wants to check and add link if they agree it's a good deal?
I would have bought it myself if I hadn't recently already bought two mini pro tanks separately

I agree it's a good deal. Not exactly a £30 kit in my opinion, but great Value at £19.99 I've been trying to make them "out of stock"...

Cheapest I've seen them elsewhere is £12.49, so quite a bargain methinks They are genuine Kanger too.

Morning all! I think i am becoming obsessed with all this ????, Still undecided on what my first vaper kit should be ... anyy views on the Vision twist or spinner for 1st time vaper I dont own them myself, but many others on the forum have spinners & twists and love them. They're easy to use, just a button to vape and a dial to turn up the voltage. I know it must seem overwhelming - but you can't go wrong with any of the kits that have been recommended, they're all good deals and will make a great introduction to vaping.
