Welcome Jo yes I'm sure many members can offer sound advice worry not! I also started on those little ciggy lookalikes, but couldn't get on with them full time so decided to take the plunge and buy a tank with battery combo, almost 4 weeks on and smoke free so with some support and pointers you sound well on your way. I'll go check some links for starter kits xx Its very much dependent on your budget but there's plenty of good deals out there with great gear! You will probably need a 2 battery kit as you then always have a charged battery 'to go'

heres 1 link >> Starter Kit Very reasonable price I think. Plus that company is very good, reliable and above all one of the cheapest UK vendors I'm using an itaste vv (which is a variable wattage/voltage) all that means is I can tweak up and down the buttons to get the optimum taste to suit me, its like the next step up from ego type batteries - the standard tank system battery. I got mine here >> VV/VW Battery but obviously its only 1 battery although yopu can still vape it whilst charging battery, Ive managed 3 weeks with just the one but if you go out lots then one battery wont do

Hi Smokeyjo75 and welcome You'll find lots of friendly and good advice here. I'm a newbie too and got the Evod starter kit from www.myepack.co.uk. I'm very happy with the Evod and its nice and easy to use and look after. And not too big either. The starter kit does'nt come with juice so you will have to order some juice too. Hope this helps

for juice, I can definitely recommend JooseJuice price is great on 10ml tester bottles at £1.49 each and tons of choice! The only downside is that his eliquids will need leaving to steep (left to flavour up) about 2 weeks before using so you will probably need to order some ready to use juices from somewhere? The mints and menthol are fine to use straight away so if you think you might like softmint, spearmint and menthol you will be fine to crack on in!! :DIf you do order, you need to choose your mix - nicotine level and pg/vg. Its not too complicated, basically you can probably start with a couple of bottles in a mix between 40/60 up to 70/30 ( theres threads on forum explaining this stuff) To know what nicotine amount you need is dependent on how many cigarettes you smoked? for example, I smoked about 25 ciggies per day so I have 18mg nicotine with a few bottles of 24mg nicotine for when I fancy a headrush!! hahah

Smokeyjo75The kit that Pepperty recommends looks like a good start. I guess it might be worth emailing JooseJuice to see if they had something ready-steeped for you.

There are just so many different sites out there and it's all so confusing as to which site/ brand to trust! Yes, I know.... it's a jungle. Firstly, Secondly, there are plenty of good vendors out there. I particularly like Vape Escape but have been using myepack more recently because they do cheaper Kanger mini Protanks and replacement heads (sorry Vape Escape). Oh, and I made a whopper order from ukecigcabin because I needed some big hardware....stuff that neither VE or myepack do. I am known for my "hard line" about certain products on this forum - VIP would probably fall into that catagory. I also don't buy stuff from Vendors that take the p*** with some things. There are 1 or 2 well-known ones I would never, ever use. We know who they are.....but sometimes you've just got to ask "is this any good?"

If you got that kit from myepack and ordered some bog-standard Dekang liquid to get you going, and also bought half a dozen bottles from Joose, you'd have a good supply when they have steeped (if you can't get any....)

Hi Smokeyjo75, welcome, you will get decent advice on here. Try and stick to stuff with Standard 510 fittings, buy decent quality Batteries, take note of tips on maintaining your kit ( watch a video on youtube about cleaning wicks and dry burning coils) easy when you see it, try and get 2 or 3 different Nicotine strength liquids, I was a Very heavy smoker of roll ups, and realised the first time I tried a Mates e-cig @ 24mg was too high for me. Good luck and enjoy Vaping!!
