Ego Q battery query

Hello i'm new to this forum and vaping and i have a query.I have had the Ego Crystal Vision Mini since August but I'm finding that the battery now only really lasts a few hours from fully charged so I've decided to get myself something else.

I like the Ego Q 1100 battery but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the USB charger that came with the Ego Crystal Vision Mini and I can't seem to find out online.

Does anyone have this battery or does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure the charger you have will be fine but can you check what it says on it and post please?

it should say something like 'output 420 mAh'

Thank you for the welcome. I don't have the charger with me but according to the website I bought it from it says capacity 400mAh output 3.7v.

I think that's the spec for the battery you have?

The charger is most probably fine, but check what it says when you can and post.  Mind you, if you only have one battery and one charger you probably need spares anyway.

Do you have a link to the site that you are buying the battery from, so we can check it's a good deal?

Ok I'm home now and the charger says 420 mA. I've seen it on vape escape think its about 14 quid.

Umm....

The Vision Crystal uses a special charger.

It MAY work, but I own both types of charger and both types of battery and never mix up the one for the Crystal.

Good idea. After all, it was Jason himself that suggested I didn't charge the Crystal with a normal eGo charger.

(However, you want to do it the other way around....)

I use the charger that came in the box, from Vape Escape. It's a small usb type adapter thing. I couldn't get it to work at first, so I phoned Jason and he said to return it. However, with a little fiddling I got it to work.

I charge my eGo batteries with a standard 420mAh charger. I have a few. Cheapest was £1.56 from fasttech, and the most expensive probably £4.75 with an order. All the same, more or less.
In fact, I've been picking up "free" ones with the Mini Protank kit from myepack....

That should be absolutely fine, but no harm in checking with VE

Is it ok to use that charger on Ego batteries?  Ego chargers have an output of 420mAh and the one in that kit has an output of 500mAh

Good point. The myepack one is 500mAh. Possibly not good either.

I don't know for sure djs I'm sure I've read that the Evod battery can be charged with an Ego charger but not sure if it would be really safe to do it the other way round ???
