I have not seen the photos mentioned but I am not easily offended anyway. However, I do think it is more important to keep the forum going and if that means just being careful about what photos we post it is a small price to pay.

I see some people mentioning moving the forum to another host. If this route is followed please make sure you check the terms and conditions of the host server too as many hosts also have terms and conditions and can impose restrictions on content they allow on their servers including mature content.

Thanks too for all the hard work the mods put into this forum. As has already been said, this forum has the potential to save lives and that is far more important than not being able to post certain types of photos.

It's sad that Chrissie has had this problem, and I fully understand that you have to deal with it in the interest and for the advantage of us all (and all the other mods) BUT

I have to say that it's a bit hypocritical of proboards to do this so soon after hosting advertising links to pornographic websites on the mobile version of the forum. Granted, they stopped all ads when the issue was raised, but even so......

Perhaps that episode 'sharpened' them up a bit?

Just playing devils advocate, what would happen if I posted a screen grab I took from my phone of the forum with an ad showing full a fully topless lady that they hosted? Not that I will, and I refrained from posting that particular pic at the time because I thought it would be inappropriate to show it.


I do agree that within this forum, really there is no need for pornographic images, and I didn't see the image of a lady with a mod in her underwear, but that sounds no worse than what we see in shops, magazines, on billboards and on tv all the time. In my opinion a lady in her underwear as long as it's covering all the right bits and isn't set and posed suggestively can't be considered 'adult content'
