Senior moment ...

I'm always swapping flavours during the day and have a range of batteries and iclears on the go , had my mocha only half hour ago and managed to lose it !! Searched the house and guess where I just found it ? .... Only in the cutlery basket in the dish washer !!!! Good job I hadn't put it on !!! Must learn to put it down whilst tidying up !!!

It is always comforting to hear about other people's "senior" moments. Makes you feel you are not alone. A couple of months back I was on my own indoors and couldn't find my SID. I don't have great mobility, so didn't want to struggle out to the car where I had my spares egos. I shuffled about all over the house looking for SID. Couldn't work out where the hell he had gone. I sat back down in my chair and felt something catch the arm. SID was tucked under my armpit!!!

I used to pop in to my old nanans every day after picking the kids up from, or dropping them off at school to check she was ok. I remember one day she pulled a shop bought pie out of her handbag sat staring at it for a minute, she then looked at me and the conversation went:

Nan: I'm supposed to be having that for my tea.

Me: Well something is cooking and it smells pretty well done.

nanan proceeds to rummage in handbag...

Nan: Ahhhh Bol**c*s I've baked my fri*gin purse.

She had a way with words my old nan.

I proceeded to struggle to breathe with laughing so hard at her running her smouldering purse under the tap.

I don't half miss that woman lol.

I think we're all guilty of doing things like that, we just don't all own up about it.

Talking about nana's....went for lunch one day...
Nana said... Made a rice pud for afters.........mmmmmm I thought mouth watering!
Then SUDDENLY...A LOUD BANG...from the kitchen....
WHAT THE BLEEP BLEEP WAS THAT?....running to the kitchen
Nana had put the rice pudding in the fridge and the half full bottle of milk in the oven....EXPLOSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BLESS HER.....I DO MISS HER SO!

My nan-in-law put the empty milk bottle under the bed and the chamber pot on the doorstep. Milkman knocked on the door and asked her if she really wanted the milk in that? I am hoping the answer was "no".
