Another Site Newbie

Hello All

I just wanted to say Hi, Im relativly new to vaping, I have been off 20-30 Roll-ups a day since the beginning of september (After smoking for 14 years) and its been effortless, although I did try the cig-a-like sticks a few years back with no success, they were dreadful!

But I decided to get myself a starter kit, 2 x 1100mah batteries, a few clearomizers and some juice and havent looked back since.

Although I am now awaiting for a few extras, after a relationship breakup I decided to treat myself to a Joyetech eVic, an EVOD tank and a ProTank 2 which I should have in a few days, im looking forward to that

One last thing, Im not sure if anyone else has had this, but since vaping, my non smoking family keep asking when Im going to quit the vaping, as they see its as a quitting tool, but quite frankly I dont want too, I love vaping far too much

Anyways Im glad I have found this site and look forward to getting involved

It is indeed very annoying when well meaning people want to know when you'll stop vaping. Nobody bothers me about it now, I think now that I'm coming up to 2 years and own enough gear to start a small business that they've all got the message

I had a conversation last night when a cigar smoker saw me chugging on my SID + Protank

He says "Oh how are you doing with giving up"

I said " I have'nt smoked tobacco in over 4 years"

Stunned silence from him.................

Then he says, "So they're no good for giving up"

I said " I don't want to give up"

He says "you should, it's gotta be bad for you" as he chugs on his cigar inhaling..................

I walk away chuckling!

Yes, non-smokers do tend to think of e-cigs and vaping as a supplement to Nicorette and other NRT products.
Not their fault. They just need a bit of re-education. I am sure they will realise eventually that Vaping is a hobby in its own right.

My wife certainly realises this as she rapidly loses more and more freezer space to bottles of e-juice chemicals and more and more desk space to racks of e-juice and MODs.

Vaping is gradually taking over our house.
Ofcourse there is method in this because when she finally blows her top, I will suggest that we get a larger garden shed "to keep my vaping stuff in", she will readily agree and so I get my 10' x 8' shed with her complete agreement.

I'm new to vaping too and yes, people ask me how long now will it take till I've quit completely.....?!? I'm a month in, just grateful I'm ciggie free, if I vape the rest of my life i'll be happy

hehhe, thats what I call mine = sonic screwdriver. I've got an itaste vv (so its slim, long and square) with a mini protank on it, looks just like "what Dr Who's waving"

Only last night my wife asked me 'have you any idea when you will be weaning yourself of THAT thing?'. I replied along the lines of 'no set date as of yet, but I am reducing my nicotine gradually (Which I am, but only v. slowly LOL).
This is from a wife who spends about £15 per week on B&H Gold fags, although she only smokes about 4 a day, it's still more than I spend on juice in a month!
Hey,ho, will vape away as if nothing happened!
