You'll achieve stinky free status in good time & as you've literally just started you're doing well, tigerlilly, so don't worry about it.

I found it hard to begin with, started by cutting down to 2 or 3 a day then decided after a boozy night of too many cigs that I should try and stop. There has been blips since then but its getting easier ever day. What I've learnt if I don't put too much pressure on myself it makes it easier. Sometimes if you need a cig and vaping doesn't do the job then have one.I'm still in the early days of not having cigs. Also I treat myself to something if I've had a bad day craving cigs Good luck

You've done real good, alright you had one but as everyone has said don't pressure yourself. If you did find yourself struggling sometimes a higher nic juice can help you through too. But just take one day at a time and you'll get there... Ps good to know there is another local about on here! Not sure if you know but one of the members on here runs a shop/stall of ecig gear in Chelmsford market by the lifts

Are they still e-cigs, even though they look nothing like an e-cig? Anyway, what ever it's called, I've got one with a clear thing and Dunhill juice 18mg, which is fab. It's all really impressive and so much better than the e-cig I have been used to. He was very helpful and I was grateful to him for talking me through some stuff. Still a bit of a vaping virgin - ohh that sounds like something out of a Carry On Film...A Vaping Virgin!!

Very few people get there overnight. You will though, and the less you smoke and more you vape, one day the taste of a cigarette will be so rough, you'll never go back.

well done tigerlilly Just think back to before you got your new e-cig if you'd have been happy having only one stinkie in a day? I bet you would have been ECSTATIC at that prospect! Wise words from gapy360 above about getting a higher nicotine juice for when the cravings get bad, we're all different I still vape 18mg after 4 years! Some get by on 4mg or 6mg. I'd be chain vaping and climbing the walls on juice that low.

You should be congratulating yourself. Don't put yourself under pressure to leave analogues behind. My first few days I Told myself I could have one in the evening as a treat, it stopped being a treat Quite quickly as my taste buds started to revive. Most people still think of trying a ciggy now and again, as time goes on they Just become second best.

tigerlilly as everyone else has said, please don't beat yourself up - count the ciggies you don't smoke. I used to be a very heavy smoker - on average 50 a day When I bought my first e-cig over 5 years ago, I instantly cut down to 5 a day & then 2. However, it took me a long time to give up those final 2. Then one day I thought, why the heck do I need to smoke them as I no longer even liked the taste or the smell of them & wouldn't it be good to eventually say that I no longer smoke? Just take it at your own pace
