Ok, just completed my very first mix/mixes I have made 2ml of strawberries & cream and 2ml of vanilla custard, both at 10% flavouring and 16mg nicotine and at 50pg/50vg. They are both now steeping in small 5ml bottles - can't test them out as I don't have my atomizer yet with dripper Was awkward to do the small measurements though, especially when the measurements were at 0.56ml and 0.44ml, just had to take a rough guess in between the lines on the syringe. I think I need a 1ml syringe really, but had to use the smallest 5ml syringe which was in my new mixing kit. Feel a bit deflated now, being a newbie I just want to try them out straight away, but know I shouldn't

Congratulations Toots. Ps . . . the Strawberries & Cream won't take as long as the Custard, I'd try it in about 4 days if you can't wait any longer . . . .

Well done toots... I'm going to be following your posts with interest, planning to start mixing in the new year (or sooner if I can't resist spending!)

Well done, and the waiting is definitely worth it especially for the custard

I thought I could give a little try in 48 hours as that is what Griswalds says to wait when I've bought his liquids which are mixed to order. I need to find out if the strength of flavouring is enough at 10% so I can make up a full 10ml bottle. Once I know that then I don't mind waiting even a couple of weeks for a 10ml bottle to steep properly. It's the not knowing which is the killer

Nice one, toots. Was it a strawberries+cream, concentrate, and if not, which cream was it? - I'm new to mixing, and would like to mix a S+C recipe for my sister-in-law. In fact, as to not create another thread - has anyone got a recipe , % wise.

The postie did arrive! Well done, toots, now sit back & wait......again! Yeah jess eventually he did. He was around 2 to 2 and a half hours late today though. Our normal postie apparently was off sick and the new one had a hard time finding his way round. I had arranged to go out at 2.30 this afternoon but was still waiting for the kit Didn't get out of the house till 3pm, postie came 5 mins before 3pm. So then had to wait till I came back to eventually do the first mix. And now, I'm waiting again.........for the mix to steep..........all I seem to do these days is wait........and wait........and wait Got your pm and will pm you again with my friend's address when she replies to the email I sent her earlier today.

Can't wait to try it out

See, toots, he was just getting you prepared for the steeping wait. At least you're off & running now & I'm sure the next wait will be worth it. Tis rather a good feeling, actually vaping something that you made yourself, especially if it tastes good! No probs, they're bagged & ready to go.

I mix that at 20% Toots, but your taste buds might be in better nick than mine. The one thing to avoid if trying a brew too early, is to add an excess of extra flavour to compensate. Been there, done that and when it has properly steeped, it's been way too strong. Once you get into a regular routine of mixing/steeping the wait isn't noticeable, truly.
