If you are talking about 18650s or similar, then the charger should have documentation that will tell you what size and technology it works on. And the charger won't care if the battery is an efest IMR or a trustfire piece of . But it is important not to have a crap charger - there are some unsafe ones out there. And even good batteries on a good charger can explode, throw out hot bits to burn the house down, so it is best not to leave them unattended unless they are in a charger bag or something. If you are talking about charging (for instance) an ego on a charger designed for a cig-alike then it will probably work, I'd think it would be safe enough, but probably very slow. Don't charge a cig-alike on an ego charger though - it could be dangerous.

geordie_vaperAs others have said invest a little bit more in a decent charger and you'll be rewarded in maximum battery life and maximum safety. What are you using the 16340's in, are you stacking 2 together in a mod?

PLEASE be Careful! As a rule we do not recommend stacking batteries, make sure you know exactly what you're doing.

I'd run a mile from stacking batteries myself geordie_vaper, they can be inclined to go thermal if you're not extremely careful. For the price of that kit you could get a Vamo or an MVP, much better options IMO.

If you don't mind the uncertain waiting time then China is obviously going to be your cheapest option geordie_vaper . . . but if you'd like a more immediate delivery then Vape Escape have the SS body: www.vapeescape.co.uk/MODS--Advanced/Ego-VV/VW-VAMO/Vamo-VE-Stainless-Steel.HtmlYou could then buy a decent charger and batteries separately, which would be a much better option. I don't know if this is the best UK deal, but allabout will give you 10% discount and you'd be buying from an excellent Vendor with a reputation for great customer service.
