Is anyone else having problems with their iclear 30?
Up until last week it was working like a charm and then very rapidly became almost unusable. Very poor vap, flooding, gurgling and generally being hard work. Tried washing it out a few times but no noticeable improvement, CUT 2 of the wicks back but vaping no better although the gurgling has stopped. It's that bad I've got an old cart here, something on the lines of a boge rippoff I think and it's vaping soooo much better.. Can't understand why it's just given up the vap?
Anyone else having problems?

Sounds like one of the coils has died. Can you test the ohms of the coils if it has about doubled then one coil is dead.

Yup, got 3 here I'll probably trade, vape lovely to begin with, but they drink juice, have to be tinkered with every 5 minutes. And clog, eventually blowing coils with thicker juices, have gone over to evods and ordered a couple of aspires. Using the iclears for high end juices that I dont vape much.

I'll check that out when it's dry. Also worth noting for prospective buyers that this one of mine hasn't had any thick juice through it and 2 weeks on it's dead...

I don't use iclears, but two weeks for any head seems good going.

I use 1.8ohm heads but they usually read 1.7ohm on my svd this jumps to over three ohms if one coil blows. (confirmed by cleaning and dry burning and only seeing one coil glowing) I have used quite high vg content juice too and most heads last at least a month.

Well, that's put me off getting an iClear 30 to go with my 16s - think I';ll have to look elsewhere!

I have no trouble at all with mine, used the latest one for over three months (still working) with a fortnightly rinse and dry burn. I always vape 70/30 or 80/20, so they arent particularly thick liquids. Never had any issues with them really. Mine are 2 ohms, as said earlier, if your resistance doubles, one coil has popped

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record . . . but I don't clean or dry burn any of my Iclear16/30 heads, my 16 lasted almost 4 months ( still worked, just wimpy ) and the 30 is still going strong. I use VG heavy eliquid, mainly dessert/candy flavours, the very most I do if I'm feeling energetic on a flavour change is to pat the wicks with some kitchen towel and wipe the tank round. That's it.

The main cause of gurgling and leaking with any top coil, wick fed clearo is over filling and/or laying it down flat .... NEVER fill an iclear further than just below the lowest wick level. I ran 4 iclear 30s and 4 iclear 16s for about 5 -6 months and never had a problem with any of them. Like robby says, a wash and dry burn every 2 weeks and the heads last for ever ... my record was four and a half months and even then the coil was working OK but the flavour was not great so it was simply "retired".

I agree with freefrom.... Great bit of kit .. If you only half fill them and ensure that the interior is screwed down tight then you should have no leaks at all... I normally vape around 10-12 watts so this effects coil life but I still get a good 2-3 weeks out of one before the gradual decline and needing to wash and dry burn .. I have protanks and evods.. Not a patch on these .... Each to there own of course

Great fitness routine you have there Perps ... something like my own ... one get-up and one lie-down daily
