hello me again another question haha, so whats the deal about batteries, i saw a video on youtube and the bloke in it said you should date you batteries and charge and use them in a cetrain order? i though that was a bit ott and he had a huge bucket of sand on his kitchen table that seemd very extreme, also what the best to do get every bit of power out a battery before you recharge them or just recharge when you feel like? obv i no never leave charging batteries unattended, but advice would be much appreciated

That sounds OTT to me geordie_vaperbuy decent quality batteries and charger. Always charge batteries before the run down too much, not a problem in an electrical mod as it will tell you or stop working before the battery charge becomes dangerously low. Buy proper battery boxes to store your batteries in and be sensible, don't leave them in direct sunlight etc once you have a better idea what you want post a link to it and we'll advise you if it's a good, safe deal

I always date my batteries and number them. Much easier to tell how old one is. Have also gopt one pair I changed teh hearshrink on for a nice orange colour and only ever use them as a pair so they remain matched for age and use. After use I can check the dicharged voltages match and evetually when/if they do not I can stop using as a matched pair and buy a new set. Its for when I do this and use two stacked 18650. Don't ask!!!!!

That looks good to me. The Vamo's circuitry should prevent your batteries running too low

There's no need to go mad dating every battery. This is supposed to be a pleasurable hobby, not a science project. Also, lithium ion batteries (which is of course what we use) last longer if they are charged up before they are totally flat. Like Karma said, there is no need to fully charge and then fully discharge them like the old NiCd batteries used to need. There is no charge-memory effect. Just charge them up again when you swap to a different juice, or whatever. If you are interested, there is tons of authoratative info at BatteryUniversity dot com (though this site is offline at the instant I am writing, it was fine at the weekend). Also +1 to the advice to buy good branded batteries, not cheap unbranded ones. There is a big difference and you won't save money buying rubbish.
Enjoy your vaping!
Jono
