Any tips for using needle syringes? Just made my first mix of 30ml, using syringes for measuring. They were really difficult to use, getting stuck half way or not sucking up the liquid. Most difficult was the VG which is thicker. Had to resort to pouring into another small container, removing the needle and doing it like that. I imagine my mix will not be totally accurate as i got very frustrated, but it smells good, so hopefully will be OK.

I pour the liquid into the syringe (Plunger end) then put the plunger back in and squeeze it into the mixing bottle. (Remember to block the needle end with your finger (Remove needle)) Also LT has a tube to fit syringes for thicker liquids. Also I stand the VG etc in warm water which makes it easier to manage.

thats what i do with VG. takes forever or not with a needle! only use a needle with the flavouring, everything else is sucked up in a wider syringe

You are perhaps using a narrow 18 gauge needle .... the 14 gauge needles are a lot wider and make syringing VG a lot easier

I always pour my VG into a measuring cup and then use the syringe with no needle to measure the required amount, I also keep a couple of brians needles around for when I can't find the measuring cup.

My VG bottle has quite a big neck. My missus got me a couple of bottle converters from Boots. Looks like a rubber bung with a small hole to pop a syringe (no needle) into. Usually used for putting in the end of medicine bottles (I guess).

Are you thinning your VG when you actually mix a juice or pre thin it. If you pre dilute it then it should make sucking it up easier. Then in your mix calculator do not include any water or vodka.

I just take it straight from the big bottle :-)
Yeserday though, I decanted a portion first in to a small cup then syringed it without needle easily enough.

+1 for 14 guage needle. Lower numbers are bigger ???
If you get your VG from Boots rather than a vape shop you'll still need to dilute with vodka or deionised water.
