One of the good things about the Vamo is that it has a 5AMP limit, a lot of the other possibilities are only 4 AMP. They are available very cheaply and any possible problems are well documented here and elsewhere. It was a bit of a game changer when it first appeared and is still going strong. You will probably get a VV/VW Vamo device for what a VV only device will cost you. They are sturdy and as reliable as anything else out there. SS version is best as the chrome wears on the plated brass ones.

just got v5 black chrome am not to bother about wear n tear i kind of like that look, my 1st bit of real serious kit was on a ego t before and so happy i made the step up

I've already bought one of the vamo v5 kits on this eBay link today but then I came across this super forum, I now understand the charger and battery's are not very good but will the vamo mod be ok ( not a fake ) thanks Simon

I'm sure the Vamo will be fine, do you have a direct link and I'll take a look.

The problem with buying from Ebay is that e-cigs are banned on there.  Ebay seem to be turning a blind eye at the moment, but they could just ban the vendors then customers would have no come back if they had faulty goods

Do not take the advise on that listing re stacking the 2 batteries!

For what you're paying I think a better deal could be found with decent charger and batteries

Surely Ebay listing must come under DSRs Chrissie ?

if so you could just change your mind and send it back 

I know it's tempting to buy mods as a kit, but usually you can get better batteries etc by purchasing individually.  there are some good deals around, if you started a thread asking people would help you find the best value for money

If I buy two 18650 battery's from myepack how long will they last, are these the best ones to get for the vamo v5, but will my rubbish charger charge them up ??

I would also buy a decent charger.  there are some good deals around on chargers, if you start a thread asking someone, perhaps Super-Shiny could help

Indeed, as they appear to be a business, then they have to conform to DSR's. However, they are already breaking DSR's & ebay rules by not showing their full address on the listing Therefore they could not only have the listing pulled at any time, but get a permanent ban from ebay.
