Is anyone else having problems getting these to fire on a MVP or similar mod.
Ohms reads 3.1 ish until juice goes in then for whatever reason they don't fire yet on my little 650 ego battery they are fine?
Any thought?

Do they fire on the MVP? (I mean, does it work, just not on the eGo 650?)

I've had this with clones & genuine - best workaround I know is to get a 510-510 connector. Now each and every one works on my eVic and at the correct ohmage too

I think evods need an eGo-510 one. I would go so far as to say that most of my "original" evods only ever worked every time with an adapter. (It's one of the reasons I don't use them very often - the Mini Protanks just seem to work on everything).

Ah, you could be right there - one of these anyway: goo.gl/BW8eZ Looks a little odd, works a treat!

You could try lowering the central pin/post on your Evod to see if that helps makes contact with the MVP connector dusty.

Thanks for the posts people. My original Kanger evod is running like a boss at 2.2 on the MVP, the knockoffs ain't.
Perpetua how do you go about lowering the centre pin/post?

Use a pin to gently pull down a smidge the central post that ought to be making contact with your MVP dusty. If that still doesn't work, I'd suspect that your FT Evod has less threads than the Kanger so isn't screwing down far enough . . . so whatever you do, won't make much difference, other than using an adapter.

dusty - unscrew the base from the chi-vod. Unscrew the head from the base. Now carefully prise the end away from the rubber insulator - you'll probably see that the rubber insulator is compressed, so it bulges between the two metal sections. Carefully ease it out, so the rubber is no longer bulging, reassemble, then screw it carefully on to the mod, but not too tight Hope that's made sense
