It shouldn't need saying, but I suspect it does -
Someday, somebody will take a bottle from a freezer labelled 'Scotch' or whatever, pour themselves a glass, and drink enough nicotine to kill themselves.
If there is any chance of someone other than you raiding the freezer, then it is easy to write POISON and Ampulla also sell bottles with childproof caps.

My wife recently bought a new (larger) freezer, so I have the old one all to myself in a locked garage I always wrap my Nic bottles in cardboard to help avoid accidental breakage and label them: POISON 7.2% NICOTINE (PG base) dd/mm/yyyy Other than storing it in a locked safe, I don't think I can take any further precautions.

That sounds good @freefromsmoking
I wasn't thinking that you would be careless, just considering the lurkers.

I most sincerely hope than anyone breaking into my house does drink something from my freezer and as my Nic Base is the only drinkable thing in the freezer, well that'll teach them!!!

Only problem is, you would probably be sued or worst case scenario done for some form of murder charge.
They only have to cut their pinky on a knife in your kitchen draw and they can sue you these days.

How one keeps their Nic Base or any other poison in their house will very much depend on their own circumstances and the ages of others in the household.
Also, I cannot be held responsible for the actions of those who choose to unlawfully enter our house/premises.
As to the actual containers that you choose to store your Nic Base, although various comments have been made over the years suggesting glass instead of plastic, I have yet to see any links to any actual research that has been done on this subject.
There are a lot of elements about e-cigs and e-juice which come down to individual choices, practical experience and pot luck and at the end of the day, what suits you, is the best you can hope for.
In time, proper research will be done in all aspects of our hobby, but until then, go with what fits your circumstances.
