hi guys , i was going to buy a nitecore i4 but after reading a few reviews im now unsure about them , some of the reviews say that bays 1 and 3 stop charging so what i need is a good charger, what do you all suggest? cheers

I have had the i4 for several months now, no problems what so ever it is a good charger

The sliding negative contacts could be a bit smoother. It's a pain in the bottom to get 17670s in and use seems to make it no better.

No problems with my i4 either, but I guess with cheaper chargers you are always going to get the odd problem. I gritted my teeth a long time ago and bought a Pila - I've not heard of any problems with those and certainly mine has never missed a beat

No probs with my i4, but as barrynorton said, the sliding contacts can sometimes be a bit stiff. But you don't need spacers, like some other chargers, so no small parts to go missing

Got an xtar (over a year old) and an i4 (8 months old), both running fine, although thats probably cursed them lol.
