This evening a Police helicopter fell from the sky and landed on the roof of a city centre pub.
Two and a half hours on no details of casualties or fatalities have been released.
Let's hope for the best from this tragedy, and wish a speedy recovery to those injured.

Still no news of casualties or injuries.

Seems like the Pilot was a true hero...landing on a flat roof and avoiding a 22storey
block of flats.

Just horrific. RIP to those who have lost their lives. I just heard on the news, it dropped silently from the sky. Must have been a mechanical problem with the helicopter I would imagine. What a sad day. |

I don't want to upset you and apologise if I do, but it's a flippant comment and there was no need for it. RIP all who lost their lives and thought to all friends and family of those who died and who were injured. |

Saw this early this morning, seems the rotor blades stopped spinning. It could not have come down in a worse place. My thoughts are with the victims and their families.
