I have been very patient with VB over my faulty vamo and done a very comprehensive report for them. However this morning I am beginning to get somewhat frustrated as I have one person emailing me asking for details so they can refund, one person asking for pictures etc ( the report I have sent) and another (Min) who apparently has sent a replacement when I specifically asked him for a refund as I have every reason to believe the replacement from the same batch will also be very poor quality. So this morning I now hear they will not refund yet. Ah well.. it all drags on. Lets hope the replacement proves good.

TBH, i dont think i will ever use them again. i placed an order for 3 of their kayfun clones. I paid over $20 for dhl and guess what, 3 weeks later and they are still not here. I spoke to min who is blaming dhl even though their site shows that they didnt receive the parcel until a few days ago.
As much as fasttech annoy me, they seem to be a lot better than vaopur fake!

Damn Vaporbreak, they do not keep their side of a promise. I have sent them pictures as requested and evidence vamo is faulty and also evidence it has NO reverse voltage protection, I regard this vamo I have as dangerous and as such reason to believe other stock VB have or have despatched also to be dangerous. They said they would refund, and now they are saying they will not. I specifically asked them NOT to send a replacement but to refund. They are being so difficult to deal with. Please do not buy a Vamo from them until this is sorted out and they show evidence their vamos DO HAVE reverse voltage protection.

I have circled the area of the PCB where there should be a couple of diodes to protect against reverse voltage. There is no provision on the PCB at all for reverse protection. I have now tested for reverse protection and the booster PCB components burn out dramatically. Vaporbreak really need to sort this out.

And I traked your parcel,records are as follows,Chinese though: 2013-12-02 00:00, , ??, ?? 2013-11-14 00:00, ??, PEK, ?? 2013-11-13 00:00, ?, ????, ?? 2013-11-06 00:00, ?, ????, ?? 2013-11-04 00:00, ?????, ???, ?? it shows that your parcel was opended by the custom on 6th November, stayed there for one week,was sent out on 14th Nov.,and arrived at the Office Of Exchange of the UK on 2nd.December. I know it has been almost 2 month since you placed the order,and as you know ,shipping of e cig was really terrible on October,Could you please wait a few more days?We will keep tracking it and inform you as soon as there is update. Apologize again for the delay and inconvinience caused.And hope you can receive it soon.

I just need to know if my taifun GT which was shipped on the 5th December (and has left singapore on the 12th but not heard since) has a stainless steel deck (where you wick it or not) or like a chrome plated deck. the fast tech ones have been shipped out with Chrome plating which is simply just not acceptable for something that says it's 100% stainless steel and like they are now on long wait for replacement decks. Can you confirm/deny that the ones sent out at the beginning of the month will be stainless steel throughout?
and will I get my taifun GT before the end of the year?

Hello?Jane?the deck of Taifun of us is Stainless Steel throughout And as to the delivery time,2 weeks as usual ,as it left Singapore ,you are lucky that your parcel hasn't been opened by the custom.I can't promise you the exact deliver date,but I think it is ok to get it before the end of the year if no trouble with passing the custom of your country. Could you tell me your order number ,I will track it for you and inform you the details.

Thanks very much for your feedback and advice, it is important for us to improve our product,we had a discussion about this problem with the R&D stuff of our supplier, and tested the vamos we have, yes,it did happend in few of them have same problems like yours, they said there might be the quality problem with the PCB , as the PCB were weld by manual, inaccuracy and error may burned the IC, lead to problems like this. If you still keep the vamo on hand , you can put in the batteries reversely again, Short circuit will not happen, and this will not affect the function of it if you put in the batteries correctly .The PCB can still protect the batteries, the batteries is safe and will never explode by this problem. We tested the vamos we have, they can work normally. It was our fault for the whole issue, we will check the items more carefully, Pay more attention on details. New vamo was sent to you days before,this is the tracking number:RE660753137SE Thank you again for your support.

LegendgadgetI can assure you on the vamo I tested, if the batteries are reversed two components the boost PCB burn out. Namely the Buck booster IC's (sot26-6 AL381 devices). The boost voltage no longer works, However the output is now of a lower voltage and low power. One test you can do on your stock, is test if they retain settings when battery is removed and replaced. I think this will be a good indication of a substandard PCB. e.g. change volkage to say 4.5v, remove and replace battery and then check setting as been remembered. It appears as if the PCB is from a version 1 vamo or more likely a copy of the opriginal Version 1 PCB. The vamo I have with batteries is now back the correct way is getting hot on the PCB just sitting. The batteries are draining and I assure you this unit is now dangerous. I know the batteries will not explode in unit, but they might when they are recharged as been drained too far. However I use safe chemistry batteries, some do not have good quality batteries and so there is a risk. (Never say Never!!!) I am pleased you are addressing this matter.

stitch,this is update for your parcel: 2013-12-02 17:25, RECEIVED IN UK, HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC, I am very sorry ,but every parcel has the risk of being opened by the custom,held by the post office,it is out of our control. If there is any track record shows that the parcel was returded to us or we receive the returned parcel,we will refund to you immediately. You can try to contact the local post office.
