Wanting to Buy a Evic

Now Inoo a few people have had problems with the Evic, 

But the Cool looking LCD has done it for me i love the way it looks with the menu

Anyone Know where i can pick a new one up cheaply, or maybe suggest another similar mod (exept the vamo ) probably gunna pick one of these up at the same time

and if anyone has had any problems with the evic, time to share try and change my mind

I miss my evic.

Raid is trying to fix it up.

I thought about getting another control head on the basis that if it goes belly up again, Joyetech extended the warranty from 3 to 6 months.
Except they didn't really as they specifically state the wiring is not covered....which is the main bug bear.
The heads came off the v.1 rather too easily, which would be now covered (on the v.2), presumably.

Great little device, but expensive and too fragile overall I'd say. Mine only left the house to go on holiday.

Somebody on ECF got an Evic kit for £60. I thought Joyetech had strangled the market on these. Safercigs ran out and are clearly not able to get more. So, where did these come from. Worrying.

Evic is getting on a bit now and compared to a lot of the other devices it is a bit underpowered so i suggest this www.thevapetank.co.uk/product/sigeleilegendvariablevoltage  as a very good and better alternative, the sigelei Legend is full stainless steel too. The evic was slated for its tubes as they are made of lightweight alloy and it feels cheap, if you want a video of the sigelei Legend here it is

I might think it's a piece of over-priced unreliable junk, but what's the issue with the power?

I owned an evic full kit and the original tubes were horrible and cheap alloy, I ended up purchasing a bod telescope set for the head and on the power issue you would have to vape the evic at your preferred watts and then vape an svd or zmax at the same to see and feel the difference in vape quality, I have only offered this alternative based on my own personal opinion of the evic kit

I agree with you about the standard aluminium tubes but when teamed with a set of Siam tubes it is a real beauty. As far as your comparison with the svd is concerned, I sold my svd within days of buying my first eVic (I have 2) as I found that the eVic delivered it's power much more smoothly  ... as you say each of us has his or her personal opinion on everything and there is no right or wrong answer

Have to agree without a doubt with @freefromsmoking once you have a good quality tube like the siam tubes it turns the eVic into a fantastic mod, it's why i advise members too buy the head only and get a different tube.

Never been a fan of other tubes apart from the brushed steel siam tube but that is just me.

It provides a fantastic vape too boot.

At the end of the day just go with what you think, i can only suggest an alternative to the evic and give my personal opinions, but what happens regularly on a forum is some people have a very different experience of a device than what i had
