Foxy I was meaning the Cart .... the brown one at the top ..... Some people line up the rounded ends with the ends of the bridge they think it gives better vapour that way . That means every time you top off you have to place the cart at just the right place . Ah! Now I understand Keef. I've read about some people rotating the carts to line up with the bridge but I've never bothered with that (with any of my various devices) and haven't experienced problems with vapour production unless the atties/batteries are old. I'm still not sure what effect the cap and string could have as neither interfere with the action of the button. Fox Fox

Raggy, no question is pointless PMSL, a bit of me is gutted that you thought you wouldn't get a serious answer from us On the other hand - Foxy, it was Raggy asking about the the position of the attie/cartridge with the body of the SD MK1 with the string & cap hanging down

Raggy, I thought that your attempted explanation above was very successful I, too, always keep the string dangling down towards the floor, it seems awkward otherwise even though it shouldn't really have any effect. I couldn't use my SD without my neck lanyard, otherwise I keep dropping it or losing it scylla
