I just got home from work today and before i left the vapers where i work were informed that only sealed bottles will be allowed offshore (oil rig ). Now i know that TW sell 30ml bottles which have a proper seal the ones with the glass droppers inside but i use vaperworld juice and i have looked around the net for some kinda heat seal that i can use for my juice but cant seem to find anything suitable .Thought about clear heatshrink but if anyone has any better soloutions post it up please .

Might be a silly question HV, but what exactly do they mean as "sealed" ?

Good evening, not sure if I've caught your drift exactly but quite a few of the juices that I've had from James have that plastic spiky seal that has to be broken off on them before they can used.

Jeez...the Vape Police have got to the Oil Rigs as well...!!!
What part of Oil Rig Health & Safety Legislation enforces that particular little rule?

It won't be HSE related, it'll be the Camp Boss whispering in the OIM's ear as he envisages his profits plumetting from loss of "fag" sales :-) :-)

Its not just e juice its all stuff like vitamin tablets , bodybuilding powder ect it has to be sealed and never opened .Its a pain in the As* lots of guys use TW stuff but i use Vaperworlds juice in 50ml bottles and if i had known this was goiing to happen then i would have stocked up before hand .I and around 18 others need to get around this or it will be back to smokes offshore .You would not believe the security you have to go through to get offshore today .Using heatshrink might be ok but the stuff i have used before might not cut it with the jobs worth security at the heliport .I need the same stuff as TW use or similar .

HV, I'm racking my brain on this one & not coming up with anything Sounds like what you need is either a shrink wrap seal or a cap with a pull seal like you get on a bottle of cooking oil for instance? Feel free to post another thread in the suppliers section asking if any if the suppliers can help you.

What about pre-filling a load of Cartomisers and replacing the End Caps (Condoms) and THEN putting those in a Heavy Duty HEATSEAL BAG???
Just a thought...

Or put Smaller 10ml Bottles inside your devices' Battery compartment and just carry that on board the Helli!
Bah...they probably search them as well...

Dv bottles come with a plastic seal you break away from the cap before opening, same idea as cooking oil.
You could try speaking to the Peter at DV office and see if they would sell you the caps will the seal on

How about doing what the chinese do when they ship those half litre containers, run a ring of clear silicone around the cap. Just a thought.

No idea if this could work on an eliquid bottle with a sealed cap but I know students used a trick to sneak alcohol into places they only allowed non alcoholic drinks.
They'd take a water or soft drinks bottle with a sealed cap, submerge the cap into boiling water for a little while and that made the cap expand allowing you to slide it off and screw and refill the bottle with something else LOL!
As i say no idea if this would work but worth a try if you have some sealed bottles around. Wouldn't leave it in for too long as the heat might alter the eliquid inside.
