Come to think of it, ahh sod it, fagin if you don't like it then don't talk about it, you and i can't do nothing about it, copying has been going on for years, whether it be Rolex or a vaping item you ain't gonna stop it so what is the point of posting about it....sick and tired of these posts now, it seems to me they are posted to get a reaction now +1. I have a low moral standing. If i can find it cheaper then cheaper it is.

The original point wasn't clones, it was counterfeiting. With vendors using the 'Laser engraving 'Atmomixani' logo' as a selling point.
It may have been said before, and it will probably be said again, but with all the legal shit, EU nonsense, and dicy big pharma/big tobacco/political backhanders, IMHO if you want to take the moral high ground, you can't be selective when it suits you.

I bought a Nemesis clone with the intention of getting the real thing if I liked it. We are in a difficult position with ecigs because it is not easy to run out to the shops to handle something. Often we don't even know how big something is or how it really works or will work for us as an individual. If something is popular it will be cloned. In a way it is a good advert for the original and anyone buying clones and not progressing onto the original probably wouldn't have bought the original in the first place so the creator probably loses nothing. Sorry but I don't see it as theft. As it is, because I have tried out a clone and liked it, I will probably get the real thing and the creator wins!

The original point wasn't clones, it was counterfeiting. But obviously the distinction is too subtle for some, and as for the others I guess I'll just go with this I agree with you but your words fall on death ears mate, I have given up going into that part of the forum as it just winds me up....

The Nemesis is a 'counterfeit' clone but there is really no point in getting upset because the market is totally different and happens with all consumer products. Personally I would prefer it if the original Nemesis came without the angel and the steam train because, being female, it is the only thing that doesn't appeal to me. Maybe I need a proper clone. ETA: By the way, I have full experience of this on several occasions. Someone actually stole my stuff once and won an award with it. Fortunately life goes on.

The only time I ever got into a row on this forum was down to a discussion about clones. So my sole contribution to this thread is... bananas, escape the floor downtider, the misty porcupine pie relents, shall we see inch high nooks and crannies in the etherwobbles, and hark, is that a featherbongeroo?
I think I'll be safe with that....

Those of you who are up in arms about clones/copies/reproductions/ripoffs or whatever term to wish to use ... is it the fact that the original designer is being deprived of income or the fact that less financially endowed beings are encroaching in your exclusive original owner's territory, that you are opposed to?

There is no point in reincarnating old arguments, particularly if it is going to entice unrest on the forum......We are all entitled to our own personal opinions on matters & that's how it should be......as said, cloning something is quite possibly a compliment to the original designer & putting a manufacturers logo on a clone is probably not the right thing to do..............but it happens & that manufacturer is quite entitled to dispute it if it is patented...........but lets move on........There are other forums that encourage "anti-cloning" & won't tolerate it........that's their perogative.
