I think nano coils are 1mm and below, I make mine using an 18 gauge blunt needle. There isn't really a huge difference in the two, although I do prefer to make nano coils in my protank heads. Great flavour, vapour and throat hit from both with cotton. Barely ever vape on anything else to be honest.
