HI Folks, As is the case with vamos, mine has decided that it no longer likes anything threaded to it. I have had a look and stealth vape has no top caps in stock. Does anyone know where i can find a top cap or get this repaired?
thanks

Just a thought londongemini have you tried a 510/510 or 510/ego adapter? I had a LT with fubard threads but it would work fine with an adapter

HI
thanks, i have got my airflow adapter on it at the moment and it seems to be holding but i think its not going to last long. Also, the atty seems to be leaning quite a lot with this on.
tbh, i dont know why they didnt put decent threads on it in the first place. Possibly to make you buy another one! anyway, i think i will get the nemesis clone and kick clone next. I do like the svd for home use but it looks rather silly to take out with me

Santa has whispered in my ear and apparently I'm getting an SVD for Christmas I would have preferred a V5 Vamo because it has a much better menu system, and it's not telescopic, but the problems with poor 510 threads kind of put me off. The replacement top cap from Charliesvapeshop seems a reasonable price for the fix, but how do you get the old cap off - is it mole grips and a soldering iron ?

Thanks for all the help folks. I have ordered myself a replacement top cap, borrowed a soldering iron from a colleague. I have spent this morning reading all i can about taking these apart. Hopefully it wont be too tough.
Also my pulse clone from fast tech has landed and i cant wait to try out a ss mesh wick. i think its going to be a busy saturday.
