can i turn off the additional graphics

hi all

i know it is the time for festive cheer So HAPPY CHRISTMAS to each and every one of the members and a big thank you to all the admin for the work that they put in to keeping the site what it is

BUT

is it just me but are the additional Christmas graphics making the site run slow and on the home page its near impossible to navigate due to the slowness

so i ask is there any way that i personally can reset the graphics back to the norm??

Hi

It will be all the javascript running which is quite processor/memory intensive

You can switch from the default template by doing the following:

click on the 'Profile' link just below the main site header image

click on the 'Edit Profile' button which is on the right-hand side

click on the 'Settings' tab

scroll down about halfway you will see 'Forum Theme'

change the theme to the 'Proboards colours' one, as it's the only one without the javascript (snow)
