VERY dry mouth!

I find I am waking up in the morning with a VERY dry mouth, almost as if the roof of my mouth is sticking to my tongue.  Could this be that I am using too much PG in my mix and would be better off with
using only VG?  I am drinking more water, so suprised to have this dryness.
Currently I started with a 72mg nic PG base of 100 ml.  I added 100 ml of VG, making 200 ml of 36mg nic base at 50/50 PG/VG  - hope this is right.  Then the few recipes for mixing I used call for a small percentage of both PG and VG.

Question is, in my mix can I substitute the PG for VG, or may it be best to further dilute my Nic base with VG and if so what amount hould I use to say turn my 36mg into 18mg with a higher percent of VG.  Hope this is clear.

if you enjoy vaping your current 50/50 mix then I advise adding more VG when you mix your fnial vape juice

It doesn't matter that you are substituing PG for VG although VG does have a sligt sweet taste of it's own so may slightly change the final recipe.

Doing it this way, if it is not the pg causing the dry mouth, you still have you original 50/50 PG/VG Nic Base

It may not be vpaing related. Certain medications and illnesses can cause a very dry mouth!

I found that vaping caused a dry mouth, especially in the early days. There's no harm in drinking more water.

I'm with Vanesa on this one, drinking more water whilst vaping will help with the dry mouth problem.

I wake up in the night with a very dry mouth if I have over done the vaping during the day. I always take a 500ml bottle of water to bed with me and have a good slug.
Best to sip water (or tea) continuously when vaping.

It's probably nothing to worry about - vaping does dry out the mucous membrane in your mouth, and dehydrates you. As mentioned above, sipping water will alleviate these symptoms.
I'm sure all vapers wake up with a dry mouth - it's something we all get used to over time, and rather than worry about it, just think what it would feel like after a heavy night on the fags!

I don't know if its any help emmita but I've fount t-juice (although ready mix are 80/20 I think) to be less dry on throat, the couple I've tried actually make my mouth water ??? probably from delicious taste!

Whereas juicejuice vanilla and toffee are, in comparison, a dry hit (my IMO)

agree there ! Can't get enough of red lately and not drying like some . Mind you the exception is Afro ... It just tastes 'dry' in general !
