I know some flavours improve with age. Custard/Dessert/Chocolate flavours certainly do Fockskey . . . a month I generally leave my home brews for after mixing. But if something tastes good to you, then that's all that matters really.

I suppose the only way is to try the steeping. The next batch that I mix I will do a bottle to steep, I may try accelerating the process by immersing the bottle in warm water for a while, in the same fashion that we steep tea. Just a thought.

Not too warm though I tried ultra sonic but it didn't seem to make much difference I make mainly fruit types. However I have tried the coffee frother and that works you see the colour change. Just the cheap hand frother about £2 just froth till milky leave to settle then froth again about 3 times.

Now there's a thought. Warm slightly for an hour, froth while still warm and less viscous. Got me thinking now.
