Ok, so i ma quite happy with my Provari and MVP2 and the various Atty's I have accumulated, but have decided to grab a couple of Mech Mods, namely a Proldiac and a Chi You
Now I understand that you can add a kick and my understanding of the reasons why to are follows:
(a) You get better battery life (b) You get a constant amount of Wattage (c) Your coils last longer
I can always drop the kick if i want to get max hit from the mod/atty/battery combo
Are there any other reasons for or against kicks ?

A kick also stops you draining the battery too low, but you can normally tell by the quality of the vape if the battery is getting low. Obvious one, but a kick should stop any shorts etc...
I have a Chemisis, and tbh i dont use a kick in it.

So without the kick, is it just a gradual decline of the vape quality over time or intermittent?
Excuse me being a noob, never used Mech Mods before

Yes without the kick it will decline over time as the battery voltage declines. Also with no kick you'll need a 1.3ish ohm coil to get a 10 watt vape assuming 3.7 volt battery. With a kick you can set it to 10 watts for example and fit a 2 or 3 ohm coil and still get 10 watts with no decline in vape quality until the battery voltage drops to the point the kick won't fire. I'm no expert but for me the only reason you would not use a kick is if you want sub ohm vaping or your a mech mod purist.

Excuse me being a noob, never used Mech Mods before Yep, the battery starts its life from the charger at around 4.2v, so build your coil to your liking at this voltage, then it will drop off as the battery wears down. At around 3.6v it will start to produce less flavour and vapour and you will know it is time to change the battery.
