Many of us are quietly doing our bit.  The main thing I'm doing is helping Chrissie run this forum!  With every new vaper that AAEC welcomes and helps to set up vaping, with lots of help from our members, adds another vaper to the cause!

Other people may have health or personal problems that prevent them getting fully involved, not to mention transport problems.  Not everyone lives near a BBC station 


I am so grateful to the posters that are keeping AAEC informed of all the goings on, but I'm getting really fed up with members being told that they don't care just because they are not posting on these specific threads.

Another e-cig forum gets pages of replies in these types of threads, but the message and point of the threads tends to get lost in the pages and pages of posts.  One could comment along the lines of 'quality vs quantity' 

We all have a lot to lose and need to stand together, but sniping about lack of interest is not going to encourage people to get involved!

I think BBC World Service might blank us, as their reporters aren't in London. So the idea so far is their headquarters at Broadcasting House, Portland Place(Oxford Circus Tube).

Told my mate at work who has been vaping few weeks longer than me and he just laughed and said no!
Bit annoyed at his response but can't force him I suppose.

He is the type of person I always though would never give up smoking, he really didn't have a urge to stop and even when his gran died of lung cancer he only stopped for two weeks.
Now he doesn't tough cigs and happily vapes away at 18mg yet doesn't seem to worry about vaping being taken away from him! think he thinks it won't happen.
Well hopefully it won't happen, but it'll be no thanks to him!

I was in there today, good idea getting them involved in some way, even if its just to come along as they seem like proper vapers rather than some of the other places I've seen being sold ecigs in town.

The shop was pretty busy, would be good if could get them to spread the word to vapers who are not forum junkies.

Easy Des, we'll collect more as time goes on if it turns out to be as bad as you fear. Right now, I'm not sure that it will, but the devil is in the detail.

I said on Facebook if you don't get to a meet that day you need a pretty darn good excuse as otherwise you are basically anti vaping and want to return to smoking and not let others become new vapers and get out of smoking if they want to in the future.

Might sound harsh but I'm sick of keyboard warriors griping about stuff and happily chatting about shinies while the whole thing is in danger of being destroyed.

Could this be another thing worth emailing to all members to catch the attention of members who are not very active? Especially as its Xmas time?

Who could organise that?
